Here are the services we offer under personal care: 

Eating: When appropriate, we offer a range of dining assistance, including supervising and cueing residents who may be at risk for choking or aspiration. We can also modify food textures, such as cutting into bite-sized pieces or pureeing solid foods, and provide feeding assistance when necessary. 

Toileting: Our staff can assist with toileting needs, reminding residents to visit the bathroom regularly, supervising or providing standby assistance, and helping with the use of assistive devices like bedside commodes, bedpans, or urinals. We ensure that they are comfortable while maintaining their dignity throughout the process. 

Walking: We encourage regular exercise and can provide reminders to use assistive devices, cue residents on the correct use of medical devices, and offer standby or contact assistance during walking. Our goal is to promote mobility and independence. 

Transferring: For residents who require assistance with transfers, we offer supervision, standby assistance, or one-person assistance. When needed, we can also provide Hoyer lift transfers to ensure safe and comfortable transitions. 

Positioning: Our staff assists residents with changing positions or turning, especially for those at high risk of skin breakdown or bedsores. We follow a regular schedule to ensure their comfort and well-being. 

Personal Hygiene: We provide comprehensive personal hygiene support, including oral care, shaving, hair styling, showers (at least twice weekly or as the resident prefers), bed baths when necessary, and assistance with the application of deodorant, lotions, makeup, and nail care. 

Dressing: Whether residents need supervision, standby assistance, or total assistance with dressing, we accommodate their specific requirements and preferences. 

Bathing: Our bathing services include supervision, cueing, or total assistance during showers. We conduct regular skin assessments during showers for residents who are at risk of skin issues.
